Let me explain...

Death as a sentient entity is a concept that has existed in many societies since the beginning of history. In English, death is often given the name the "Grim Reaper" and from the 15th century onwards came to be shown as a skeletal figure carrying a large scythe and clothed in a black cloak with a hood. In some cases, the Grim Reaper is able to actually cause the victim's death, leading to tales that he can be bribed, tricked, or outwitted in order to retain one's life. Other beliefs hold that the Spectre of Death is only a psychopomp, serving only to sever the last tie from the soul to the body and guide the deceased to the next world and having no control over the fact of their death.

That is me, "Grim Reaper"

So the job description was "Receptionist" this post lasted approximately 3 weeks and suddenly developed in to processing data of deaths, aka the grim reaper. Fecking recruitment agencies (yeah lets just not tell her what it will develop into!)

I can't think of anything more depressing, I almost cry trying to drag myself out of bed of a morning to come to work and do this! However at this time of "Economic Crisis" and "Global Recession" I can't say I have many options at the moment.

I swear to God (though being an athiest I don't think this will do much good) that the next job I take will be thoroughly inspected with a fine toothcomb before being accepted.

Please let me win the lottery so I can open a cattery. Poor Danie

On the upside - oh, there isn't an upside.

I've ordered a Pro 120 Palette (professional eyeshadow palette) from ebay and I'm sooo excited I can't wait for it to arrive. Time for beautiful eyes woowoo now lets not be turning into one of those beauty junkies...hehehe!

Back to work on Monday after a week off with gastroenteritis, let me tell you it is definately one of the worst things I've ever experienced, like ever!

Spending the weekend with my lovely Adam as usual, hopefully I'll be feeling 100% a.s.a.p with him looking after me

Christmas has been so lovely. A fabulous little car is what I received, it's extremely cute. A silver Ford KA going by the name of "Pussycat Cart" if you were wondering what it is.

My darling Adam bought me many many beautiful gifts. My favourite being a new iPod nano limited edition red, going by the name of "Kitty Pod". However, I thought my Kitty Pod wasn't working properly as I had seen how when you shake it, it should change the song. Being a complete idiot, I was later informed that this only occurs when on shuffle mode. No comment.

The Friday before Christmas (Mad Friday as it's known), I had a short break away down in Poole, Dorset. The trip was for two separate occassions; 1) Adam & Myself were celebrating our 2 year anniversary. 2) We were attending my cousins beautiful wedding.

Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable (minus a few hiccups). Adam and I spent some time down on the beach at Sandbanks (A.K.A the only nice place in the whole of G

Isn't it beautiful?!

I also went to a really nice club called Mint, this was on Poole Quay, I'd really recommend it any day!

Anyway back to reality... I'm actually back in work! I came back on Monday and am here right up until usual finishing time on New Years Eve and also back in on Friday. Bloody NHS, the "No Holidays Service".

I don't have any plans for New Years either and it's tomorrow so I'd better get myself sorted quickly.

That's all for now, I promise I'll be back soon.

Happy New Year and best wishes for 2009 to everybody, lets hope the new year brings us good luck.

Hope you enjoyed reading my rambling nonsense.

Love Danie xxxxx

One night near christmas she went out clubbing with her friends into Wigan, she was dressed in a beautiful silk ballgown.

The fair maiden was having a lovely time that night and wasnt bothering to look for the mysterious Prince Charming whom she had not yet met.

Later, her friends left her on her own at the bar, and behold!! Prince Charming appeared at the side of her. She was very overwhelmed and instantly knew that it was him! She bought him a drink to quench his thirst, he'd earlier been slaying dragons and was quite exhausted!

Prince Charming swept the fair maiden off her feet and took her to a quiet corner where they could sit and talk and look longingly into each others eyes. Before the fair maiden knew it, Prince Charming took her in his arms and kissed her passionately like she was the only girl in the whole world!

After a fabulous night, they each went home by horse and carriage and dreamt of the nights dazzling events.

Almost immediately they began sending pigeons with letters to each other.

They met again a few days later and continued to see eachother. After exactly a week, the Prince made the fair maiden his lady... it was official.

They could not get enough of each other!!

Prince Charming and the Princess Pussycat have been together for almost 2 years now, they intend to continue living happily ever after.

The End

Never would I consider going out dressed like a scruff or without any makeup on at all. I think the only time I would go out without makeup would be for a facial treatment or to go to the doctors.

I really dislike my hair. It grows really slowly and needs washing almost everyday. I wouldn't go anywhere if my hair was greasy, I'd be too ashamed. I sometimes wear clip-in hair extensions when I go out, which lookn fabulous if I do them properly! I'm hoping to have professional ones glued in for my birthday.

I will always try my best with my appearence because that's what people first judge you on. I don't do it for others, I do it for myself to make me feel good when I look in the mirror.

My boyfriend says I look good either way, but I know he prefers me when I'm done up and my hair and makeup is lovely.

Recently I have come across a situation where a person I know isn't happy with his girlfriend's appearence. This person put me in a really awkward position and asked would I help to change her... THE ANSWER IS NO

I can't see why you would want to change the appearence of the person you love! I could understand if this person used to take pride in their appearence and then let themselves go. But that isn't the case here. Isn't a girl allowed to have an off day anymore? Or do we have to be flawless at all times now? We're only human after all. Some people can't see the natural beauty in women that comes from within.

I know from years of applying makeup that it isn't good for your skin. There are days when I wake up of a morning and see the state of my skin from all the products I use on it. You have the option to cover it all over again with your "trowel" or to just let your skin breathe for most of the day until you have to go out into the public eye. I'd much rather trowel the makeup on so I don't have to look at the spot ridden beast in the mirror!

I mean who is even in the position to go out spending money on alcohol over 3 times a week? It's a waste of money, if you ask me. I go out every now and again, I don't go out every week and I don't spend alot of time in the pub. However most people see that as boring, I don't understand, it isn't boring, it's sensible, saves me money and aggro.

If you don't go out :-

You're a saddo.
You're a boring bastard.
You can never be arsed anymore...

It's not the fact that you can't be arsed going out, it's the fact that when you do go out you get moaned at about every possible thing going on in your life... therefore you can't be bothered with having to deal with that!

I know a couple of people that feel like this. If you only show your face every now and again you're not worthy as a friend, people stop ringing you and inviting you to go places. It's stupid, completely stupid. I know people who never see each other, and are the best of friends, because they keep in contact with each other.

People around here don't see people for who they really are. They take a look and make a judgement and don't stop and discover what's underneath. This is happenning everywhere, social disfunctions.

There's a typical sort of group, consisting of :-

A leader (who is a lying two-faced hypocrit)
The followers (who essentially just do as the leader says and worship him in every way)
The people who sit on the fence (self explanatory, they're usually dark horses)
The people who say what they think and get criticised for it.

That's what it's like. And there's nothing you can do about it, because everybody "bums" the leader. It's impossible to talk to others about these things unless they're not in your social circle, otherwise everybody knows everything.

Words of wisdom "don't trust anybody"

I wouldn't have thought there would come a time where men are more bitchy than women. The time has now arrived...

I've had it with these fake people.

 Comments

I haven't blogged for a while

I can't tell you how much I'm loving this weather!!!! It's glorious, I'm building up a lovely tan (thanks to Dove summer skin)

I'm going to ladies night at Aintree Racecourse on Friday, I cant wait I'm so excited! I got Daddy to buy my dress and shoes yesterday so I'm really happy. I dragged him out of work to take me shopping I bought a really pretty hairpiece aswell, but who knows what I'm going to do with that though, I'm sure it will be a disaster. And I've booked in to have my makeup done at Benefit on Friday too so I'll be sure to look half decent. Ooooh McFly are playing there (even though they're quite appauling and won't be anywhere near as good as Lemar last year). I just can't be bothered with loads of screaming teenage girls... I know I'm still a teenager myself but grrr i know you know what I mean. My Adam got his suit and shoes for ladies night the yesterday too, he looks so gorgeous

There's been a bit of a catastrophe over the past couple of days. My parrot had managed to let himself out of his cage and fly away. Oh dear oh dear. I cried for alot of Thursday night, I was heartbroken, you see we've had him since I was little and he's just fabulous! I made "missing parrot" posters yesterday and had them handed out. Mum called me last night to tell me that Chuckie was home... some children had found him on a field! Panic over...

Today has been nice though, I've been with my lovely all day. We washed his car, however after Add sent me away to play with the cats I managed to slice open my finger and get blood everywhere... see I can't be left on my own for 2 minutes! We then tormented the cats with a golf ball which was really amusing. Went out for a meal with the inlaws and then came back and watched a film... I love how such a simple day can be so lovely... I'm very happy

Took another trip to the Beacon for yet another round of inappropriately dressed ball whacking. Accompanied by Mr Adam Arkinstall, Mr Peter Davies and Miss Gemma O'Shaughnessy. I wasn't really up for it today so I sat on the floor with my ipod and made a daisy chain

After the golf lark was over we ventured to Burger King for a bite to eat. Lavlay. Gem & I got some ravishing BK Crowns mmmm classy.

Laughed most of the way home at silly things... for example Adam almost running some man over who was dicing with death... and the man's twin, a squashed hedgehog road pizza... noiiice ay!

So we had to drop Gemma off first, and turning into Gemma's road... Peter decides (not to tell anyone) but be sick out of the window a bit... all over himself... all over the carpet... all over the window... all over the door. DEAR GOD!!!!

It was disgusting... Adam had to stop the car. I was protesting in the back of the car for him to "LET ME OUT NOW" luckily I had an empty drinks cup from Burger King in my hand... I can't deal with sick when I'm sober... the look of it... the smell of it... eurgh. So I got out of the car and threw up in the cup. Horrid.

Gem and I walked up to her house, literally a two minute walk.. me puking in the cup all the way there. I thought I was fine by the time we got to her house, because I didn't actually feel sick in the first place. But no... the time came were I had to get rid of the vomit filled cup... That seriously didn't go down too well at all, my head was down the toilet after the smell of the sick

I got myself all fresh and clean...

Thought I'd better go help clean the car, poor poor Adam's lovely new car covered in splatters of smelly sick!!

Evidently though, I couldn't go anywhere near it without heaving, so I stayed in the doorway making fun of Peter! Haaa

The car is fine now... all fresh... CLEAN... and smells lovely!!

Hmm all is well again.

Apart from my "flu-like symptoms" and a suspected ear infection. Oh and no luck on the job front either.

Bloody wonderful

Oh I watched this last night

<a href="http://s51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/dandriff/?action=view&current=Forgetting_Sarah_Marshall-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/dandriff/Forgetting_Sarah_Marshall-1.jpg" border="0" alt="FSM">

Myself, Adam, Graham and Peter (in his skinny fit t-shirt) took a trip to the Beacon Driving Range yesterday. I can't hit a golf ball for shit... I got 50 balls, the majority of them only got a couple of feet in front of me, whereas the lads were whacking theres to the 150 yards mark not happy! And today I'm in agony! My arms hurt, my legs hurt, my shoulders hurt, my wrists hurt... I feel like I took a full limbering dance technique class yesterday and I only hit a few golf balls argh.

This week is quite fun though, I'm staying with Adam quality time yay.

Here's some golf pictures from yesterday

I don't even know how to hold this "golf stick" properly...

And...whack... didn't get very far

This is my lovely Adam

Nice shot... 150 yds, much much further than mine

The balls you can see closest to the edge are my pathetic attempts haha

I awoke around 11 to the sound of my phone buzzing, Adam demanding I get up. I had an hour. An hour to have a shower, dry my hair, iron my clothes and make some lunch. Half of that hour was spent just stood under the hot water refusing to move. I love that. Then you realise you've left your conditioner in for too long and your hair is gonna be greasy. Great. Lunch went out the window, didn't have time for that. Time to dash to the pub to watch the "Mighty Torres" mmm he's so gorgeous!

So we're in The Stag, our drinking ground. Adam and I, at our usual match day table. However today the place was populated by gobby council estate scumbags. I hate that. Really grinds my gears. No offence to people that live on council estates, i just mean "the sort".

3-1 victory. Gerrard, Torres & Voronin. Haha we cried laughing at Voronin's goal, it was hillarious, he's so ridiculously crap!!! The referee was absolutely ridiculous too. I've never seen it as bad! Anyway, we left after the match had finished. Quite happy...

I've got a thing about feeding the ducks, it's just mucho fun. Add took me to the co.op so I could buy some bread especially to feed them! Off we went to the Res... what happened as soon as we stepped out of the car?? Yes, it began to rain. The ducks were rubbish too, they didn't even want to eat the bread which I purchased especially for them, ohhh no none of that stale stuff, the cheeky buggers I spent 81p on them! Aww there was a duck with a blue beak, I found that really quite funny.

I wanted to go for a walk when all the bread had been thrown, just a short one. I like pointless days were me & Add go for silly walks, makes me feel good. Disaster struck though, the paths were muddy, extremely muddy. I slipped in a muddy puddle and my shoes came off, I was then named "Mucky Ducky". Had to sit in the car with McDonalds tissues on the floor so I didn't get mud all over Adam's lovely clean car...

I want more days like this

Not that I'll have much to talk about really. I don't know how often I'm going to use this but hey, if there's anything important... or not so important, I'll be sure to let you know.

Ciao for now
