  • Fairy Tales

Once up a time there was a fair maiden who desperately seeked her Prince Charming.

One night near christmas she went out clubbing with her friends into Wigan, she was dressed in a beautiful silk ballgown.

The fair maiden was having a lovely time that night and wasnt bothering to look for the mysterious Prince Charming whom she had not yet met.

Later, her friends left her on her own at the bar, and behold!! Prince Charming appeared at the side of her.  She was very overwhelmed and instantly knew that it was him!  She bought him a drink to quench his thirst, he'd earlier been slaying dragons and was quite exhausted!

Prince Charming swept the fair maiden off her feet and took her to a quiet corner where they could sit and talk and look longingly into each others eyes.  Before the fair maiden knew it, Prince Charming took her in his arms and kissed her passionately like she was the only girl in the whole world!

After a fabulous night, they each went home by horse and carriage and dreamt of the nights dazzling events.

Almost immediately they began sending pigeons with letters to each other.

They met again a few days later and continued to see eachother. After exactly a week, the Prince made the fair maiden his lady... it was official.

They could not get enough of each other!!

Prince Charming and the Princess Pussycat have been together for almost 2 years now, they intend to continue living happily ever after.

    The End

  • Perfection

As a girl I know that I have to make an effort everyday to make myself look presentable.  I take pride in my appearance and care what I look like.  There are some days though where I just can't be bothered and I stay in what makes me feel comfortable, note:- this is when I am staying at home and have no visitors around.

Never would I consider going out dressed like a scruff or without any makeup on at all.  I think the only time I would go out without makeup would be for a facial treatment or to go to the doctors.

I really dislike my hair.  It grows really slowly and needs washing almost everyday.  I wouldn't go anywhere if my hair was greasy, I'd be too ashamed.  I sometimes wear clip-in hair extensions when I go out, which lookn fabulous if I do them properly!  I'm hoping to have professional ones glued in for my birthday.

I will always try my best with my appearence because that's what people first judge you on.  I don't do it for others, I do it for myself to make me feel good when I look in the mirror.

My boyfriend says I look good either way, but I know he prefers me when I'm done up and my hair and makeup is lovely.

Recently I have come across a situation where a person I know isn't happy with his girlfriend's appearence.  This person put me in a really awkward position and asked would I help to change her... THE ANSWER IS NO

I can't see why you would want to change the appearence of the person you love!  I could understand if this person used to take pride in their appearence and then let themselves go.  But that isn't the case here.  Isn't a girl allowed to have an off day anymore?  Or do we have to be flawless at all times now?  We're only human after all.  Some people can't see the natural beauty in women that comes from within.

I know from years of applying makeup that it isn't good for your skin.  There are days when I wake up of a morning and see the state of my skin from all the products I use on it.  You have the option to cover it all over again with your "trowel" or to just let your skin breathe for most of the day until you have to go out into the public eye.  I'd much rather trowel the makeup on so I don't have to look at the spot ridden beast in the mirror!
