  • Social circles of misery

I cannot understand why people's general social lives revolve around going out drinking.  It's the same thing week in week out, the same people, the same places, the same bitchiness between the groups. I mean who is even in the position to go out spending money on alcohol over 3 times a week?  It's a waste of money, if you ask me.  I go out every now and again, I don't go out every week and I don't spend alot of time in the pub.  However most people see that as boring, I don't understand, it isn't boring, it's sensible, saves me money and aggro.

If you don't go out :-

    You're a saddo.
    You're a boring bastard.
You can never be arsed anymore...

It's not the fact that you can't be arsed going out, it's the fact that when you do go out you get moaned at about every possible thing going on in your life... therefore you can't be bothered with having to deal with that!

I know a couple of people that feel like this.  If you only show your face every now and again you're not worthy as a friend, people stop ringing you and inviting you to go places.  It's stupid, completely stupid.  I know people who never see each other, and are the best of friends, because they keep in contact with each other.

People around here don't see people for who they really are.  They take a look and make a judgement and don't stop and discover what's underneath.  This is happenning everywhere, social disfunctions.

There's a typical sort of group, consisting of :-

A leader (who is a lying two-faced hypocrit)
The followers (who essentially just do as the leader says and worship him in every way)
The people who sit on the fence (self explanatory, they're usually dark horses)
The people who say what they think and get criticised for it.

That's what it's like.  And there's nothing you can do about it, because everybody "bums" the leader.  It's impossible to talk to others about these things unless they're not in your social circle, otherwise everybody knows everything.

Words of wisdom "don't trust anybody"

I wouldn't have thought there would come a time where men are more bitchy than women.  The time has now arrived...

I've had it with these fake people.

  • I haven't blogged for a while

I can't tell you how much I'm loving this weather!!!! It's glorious, I'm building up a lovely tan (thanks to Dove summer skin)

I'm going to ladies night at Aintree Racecourse on Friday, I cant wait I'm so excited! I got Daddy to buy my dress and shoes yesterday so I'm really happy. I dragged him out of work to take me shopping I bought a really pretty hairpiece aswell, but who knows what I'm going to do with that though, I'm sure it will be a disaster. And I've booked in to have my makeup done at Benefit on Friday too so I'll be sure to look half decent. Ooooh McFly are playing there (even though they're quite appauling and won't be anywhere near as good as Lemar last year). I just can't be bothered with loads of screaming teenage girls... I know I'm still a teenager myself but grrr i know you know what I mean. My Adam got his suit and shoes for ladies night the yesterday too, he looks so gorgeous

There's been a bit of a catastrophe over the past couple of days. My parrot had managed to let himself out of his cage and fly away. Oh dear oh dear. I cried for alot of Thursday night, I was heartbroken, you see we've had him since I was little and he's just fabulous! I made "missing parrot" posters yesterday and had them handed out. Mum called me last night to tell me that Chuckie was home... some children had found him on a field! Panic over...

Today has been nice though, I've been with my lovely all day. We washed his car, however after Add sent me away to play with the cats I managed to slice open my finger and get blood everywhere... see I can't be left on my own for 2 minutes! We then tormented the cats with a golf ball which was really amusing. Went out for a meal with the inlaws and then came back and watched a film... I love how such a simple day can be so lovely... I'm very happy
